Transforming the healing experience!
Transforming the healing experience!
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and improve the quality of life of kids and their families during cancer in Maryland. Your generous donation will fund our mission.
We seek to empower children confronting cancer by partnering with holistic practitioners to provide integrative therapies, supportive care, and informative workshops in conjunction with their chosen medical treatment.
With the pandemic affecting our ability to serve in the manner in which we started, we have introduced new ways to help. We want to support kids and their families going through cancer in any way we can.
Whether you help through monetary donations, volunteering your time, becoming a partner with us or spreading our mission through word-of-mouth, thank you. We couldn't accomplish our goals without the help of supporters like you.

7 days, 329 miles, good hearted trekkers, and Power Kid Families.
This video won my bonus daughter an A in her HS class. She compiled our media from a full week event and made this in one weekend. My 8th Maryland Trek was a huge success in 2021. We raised over $116,000 for Just In Power Kids: Our programs for Pediatric Oncology patients and families.
You have cancer and will need you leg amputated. I was 14 years old and the best advice I did NOT take! This is the reason why I do the Maryland Trek. Three years after doctors told me I had cancer and would lose my leg, I used that leg to overcome a 10 yard deficit and win this race. This was the 4x200M winter track finals of Southeast NY Regionals. Now I hike and bike 329 miles across Maryland every August to honor kids in cancer treatment and raise money for free holistic care. My wife Shannon and I run the non profit Just In Power Kids for that purpose. After starting this event solo in 2014, our team has a few dozen people.
